Use Your Manners

Like his cousin, Luke, Hunter is also learning how to use a spoon other then smacking you with it. You can see spoon or no spoon the food still manages to make it into his belly. I bought these spoons the other day and he seems to do really good with them. But still is in need of allot of practice. I think he learned the no handed no spoon trick from watching Grandma and Grandpa's dogs.

Chicken Soup Kinda day

Yesterday was Hunter's 18 month appointment. Its always a struggle when we take him to the doctor now because once we walk into the patient room he knows exactly where he is. He screams and holds on super tight to me when the doctor or nurse comes in the room. By the time the doctor was finished with his check up he said shoooes and wanted me to put them on so we could go. He had three shots yesterday which included the flu shot. I wasn't planning on having him get one but his doctor said he thought it was best. Soooo today he has had a fever, won't walk on the leg the had shots, and spent most of the day on the couch or sleeping. Between my cold and Hunter being sick its just been one of those days. Hopefully we'll get well soon.

A Walk Through the Park

On Friday we went to Willow Park for date night which wasn't much of date because we had Hunter. We fed the ducks and fish and Hunter had allot fun on the swing. Hunter's leg got scraped on the top of the chain link fence after he had fed the ducks and fish so after that he wouldn't even walk on that leg even though the scrape was minor and had nothing to do with using his leg. It was funny at first til he started to cry because he wanted to run and play. It was fun to spend time with my boys.

Baby McKinley

Little McKinley was born October 5th at 2:11 p.m. weighing 8 lbs and measuring 22 inches long. Seeing her cute little scrunched up face almost made me want another of my own (almost). We're glad she is finally here and that both Mom and baby are doing well.

Happy Halloween

I went and took a few pictures of Hunter in his costume out at my parents. He would not looked at the camera and did not want to cooperate but I think I managed to get a couple cute pics.

The other day Cory had what was left of sour patch kids (citrus and sugar) and he let Hunter lick it out of his hand. It was pretty funny and he thought it was too until he got it up his nose. And last night we did a little remodel in our bathroom with new sinks. Cory found the pair on KSL for cheaper and they look new to us. The old ones faucets leaked and one had a hole in the base so it was time for them to retire. I thougth I had a before and after but I couldn't find the before.

New Season, New Blog

I've decided to start a blog of our little family. I'm sure there will be more pictures than words but I think it'll be fun. The start of a new season means trying new things so we'll see how this goes.
